The Autism Resource Centre (ARC) has officially launched the Employability and Employment Centre (E2C) - an employment service that is the first of its kind in Singapore for adults with autism.
The E2C aims to equip suitable adults with autism with employable skills through training and emplace them in suitable jobs with appropriate job support.
Miss Denise Phua, President of the Autism Resource Centre said: "Although not everyone with autism can work, most are able to with training and support. Work is the best form of welfare. E2C seeks to increase their employability and help them succeed in where they are placed."
E2C is open to Singapore citizens aged 16 and above, who have a primary diagnosis of autism. For more information, please contact ARC at: tel: (65) 6323 3258 or email: email@example.com.
