Objective: To support inclusion and celebrate abilities of people with Special Needs.

Highlights of Purple Parade 2015:

  • More than 7,000 participants
  • First Purple train plying the North-South MRT Line for 2 weeks . First Purple Train flash mob
  • 3000 participants in purple glasses breaking Singapore Book of Records
  • Special Appearance by Purple Symphony- an inclusive symphony orchestra with 80% of members with special needs
  • 7 faces featured for Purple Parade- people with special needs and special abilities
  • PM, the  Guest of Honour was accompanied by Ms Ho Ching. He gave a rousing encouraging speech for the special need community
  • ARC/Pathlight participated in Contingents- Flintstone theme with exotic purple costumes, Concert, Carnival segments.
