As Head of Fund Raising & Community Engagement, you will be a key member of the management team and will lead and drive the strategic development and implementation of community partnership strategies, plans and programmes.

Responsibilities:

  • To plan, lead, implement and manage fund raising activities and community outreach projects

  • Recruit donors and sponsors for fundraising events, community outreach projects and other initiatives

  • To market events to both public and organisations to garner support for the projects/events
  • Provide timely reports on project progress and donation statistics
  • Engage in networking events in expanding network and collaboration with various stakeholders
  • Oversee and coordinate Volunteer Management Programmes (including Parent Volunteer Groups, Corporate Social Responsibility, Mainstream Schools’ Community Involvement Programmes)

  • Manage media relations and press release activities pertaining to pre and post of all fund raising activities and community outreach projects

  • Ensure all fundraising projects are in accordance to charity code of governance

  • To manage and ensure effective and efficient use of resources

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in fundraising and events marketing

  • Self-driven with excellent people engagement, organisational and project management skills

  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging work environment

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with team

  • Desire to learn about Autism and possess the passion to serve the special needs community

  • Prior experience working in Voluntary Welfare Organisation / Non-Profit Organisation will be an added advantage
