Programme Description:The Empowered Learning Series (ELS) is a new and revised power-learning platform for practitioners currently working with Primary and Secondary School students on the autism spectrum.

ELS is a learning paradigm, which blends Problem-Based Learning and a Harvard Case Studies approach. Each learning series will be based on a theme. The theme for the year 2010 is Anxiety & Anger Management in students with autism.

This series of 3 sessions will begin with a case study presentation and demonstration of an Anxiety & Anger Management package in action and a discussion on how the package can be adapted for different levels of students. The subsequent two sessions will focus on differentiation and modification of the Anxiety & Anger Management package for students with different learning needs and abilities.
