Laser Gun & Archery Tag
Instructor
Mr Christopher Aw & team from Magic, Balloons & Events LLP. He and his team regularly run this programme during our School Holiday.
Goals
Experience a game straight out of a video game! A great opportunity for students to handle a state-of-the-art laser rifle, detonator rocket launcher, bow and foamed tipped arrows. Structured props will be set-up. Also, experience the planning before a battle. Program Objectives:
    • Gain confidence in handling state-of-the-art weapons

Sport Stacking
Instructor
Mr Alan Ong, Ambassador & Trainer, World Sport Stacking  Association. He has run past Sport Stacking programmes for ARC(S).
Goals
Don’t even think of blinking!
Sport Stacking entails utilising of 12 uniquely designed cups to stack-up and down the stack into pre-determined formations.
Speed is the name of the game.  A fascinating and fun sport that challenges and promotes:
    • hand-eye coordination - focus
    • left-right hand control & coordination - sequence & pattern
    • reflex
Interesting group games will be introduced to promote teamwork and adds fun to the program. Also, sportsmanship will be incorporated.

Trainers from Microburst International. Microburst International has run past Take Flight programmes for ARC(S).
Goals
This is a great opportunity to discover the science of flying! Students will learn…
    • Four Forces Involved in Flying: weight/gravity, drag, lift and thrust
    • Aerodynamics: study of forces and motion of objects through the air
All materials will be provided and students will bring back the model glideplane they worked on in class.
Interesting group games will be introduced to promote teamwork and adds fun to the program. Also, sportsmanship will be incorporated.
Lesson will be mostly hands-on but supplemented by lectures and videos.
Also, get the chance to meet an actual airline pilot who will share his life stories and job experiences with all students.

In addition, it trains students in their fine motor skills that include specialized movement of the hands, wrists, and fingers. Artwork includes:

Learn the basic soccer skills in order to play and impress your friends! Have the opportunity to play in an artificial futsal pitch!
    • Learn basic soccer skills, e.g. how to control, kick, dribble and shoot
    • Experience how the game is played in a team
A good refresher programme for those who had attended past classes to sharpen their basic soccer skills and play with friends.

Modern Jazz Dance Camp

With a BA (Hons) in Dance, Ms Stepharina has been dancing and choreographing in different dance festivals overseas and stage managing local dance show. She regularly teaches Dance with Enrichment during our School Holiday Programmes.

You have seen all the great moves on TV!!
Now seize the opportunity to learn all the moves yourself!  Over five 1.5 hours of sessions be awed as Ms Fionna introduces the basic dance steps of Modern Jazz in a fun and easy-to-learn routine. In addition, it trains students in:

This unique programme is niched at increasing the individual's exposure to multi-sports activities at the developmental age. Utilising weighted down balls and pins, participants are taught the basic techniques of bowling. Designed to simulate on-lane bowling, colour-coded pins are a mainstay in engaging each individual. This programme aims to:
  • unleash a child's potential through self-discovery & exploration
  • enhancing gross and fundamental motor skills through varied physical activities
  • encourages problem solving and implementing strategic skills
  • promotes social interaction through team activities
  • nurtures self-motivated and confident learners
