Purple Parade 2014

Venue: Hong Lim Park

Objective: To support inclusion and celebrate abilities of people with Special Needs.

Highlights of Purple Parade 2014:

  • More than 5,000 attend the event which had Contingents, Concert and Carnival segments to keep the audience entertained
  • The PM and MPs supported the Purple Parade by posting with the Purple Parade frame and posted them on the social media
  • More than 300 participants helped this event break the Singapore Book of Records of the most number of people with purple hair.
  • ARC(S) and Pathlight School participated in all 3 segments of Contingent, Concert, Carnival. Principal, VP and colleagues donned purple costumes to add excitement and zest to the Contingent segment. Our Pathlight Music Ensemble brought loud applause for their drum performance. Pathlight Mall merchandise sold like hot cakes!
